Great for couples wanting a cozy getaway
The location was fantastic! Just a stone's throw from the Christmas markets and lots of pubs. Spent some good nights exploring the local nightlife, and Karen was super helpful with everything, texting me details on how to check in when I arrived. I also loved that the room was larger than expected and spotlessly clean with all the little touches made it feel nice.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but for what you get, I'd say it was worth it.

Beautiful spot near everything!
We had a lovely stay for our anniversary. Karen was super helpful, and the breakfast was top-notch! The location is a dream, just a short walk to all the sights. Only bummer was some noisy plumbing in our room, which was a bit annoying. Still, we had a blast, and the food in the restaurant is fab!

Excellent location and cozy atmosphere
My stay was wonderful! The location was perfect, just a couple of minutes from the Minster, making sightseeing incredibly easy. The room felt so cozy and had a lovely decor, adding to the charm of my experience. The staff were attentive and quick to resolve an issue I had with the bathroom, which made me feel well taken care of. One small area for improvement would be clearer information on parking arrangements.

got to say, i loved the location, literally right next to the minster, super central for everything! the double room on the top floor was really clean and comfy, i slept like a baby. check-in was so easy with key safes, got all the info i needed via text. also, parking was cheaper with their permits, which was a nice lil surprise! can totally recommend this place for a chill stay in york!
but there were no spoons for coffee in the room, and it would be cool if they had some coffee too. also, checkout time was a bit confusing with different info.

Conviently located just a two-minute walk from the Minster and city center, making it a fantastic base for exploration. The spacious room featured high ceilings and a bright ambiance, perfect for unwinding after a long day.
The room had several issues that could use attention. The bathroom was dated, with peeling paint in the shower and a broken radiator. Street noise was quite disruptive, especially with windows that couldn't be opened for fresh air. The mattress felt too small and uncomfortable, and the condition of the pillows left much to be desired. Some towels appeared unclean, and there was a distinct lack of basic amenities like a fridge in the room, which was frustrating.

Had a lovely stay with comfy beds and modern decor that made the room feel warm and inviting. The rooftop terrace was a great spot to unwind, and I loved being able to grab a coffee 24/7. The only downside was the noise from the busy street outside, but it didn't ruin my time here at all! ☕
